PNT Consulting
Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 October 2026
CalCraft is operated by PNT Consulting (“PNT”, “we”, “us”). These terms govern your access to CalCraft, including its public pages and business workspaces.
For questions or support, contact info@pntconsulting.co.za.
1. About CalCraft
CalCraft helps service businesses manage client information, enquiries, consultations, appointments, quotes, orders, invoices, payment records, events, tasks, and, where available, wash queues.
In these terms, a “studio” means a business using CalCraft, including businesses offering beauty, tailoring, baking, décor, catering, or car wash services. Available features depend on the business and the features enabled for it.
PNT provides the platform. Each studio supplies its own products and services and is responsible for its dealings with clients.
2. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information, use an account you are authorised to access, and keep your sign-in details secure. You must not share your account or use another person’s account without permission.
CalCraft may support password sign-in and Google sign-in. Available sign-in methods may vary. An email address already linked to an account cannot be used to create a separate account.
Creating a personal account does not automatically register or approve a studio.
If you register or act on behalf of a studio, you confirm that you have authority to do so and to accept these terms on its behalf.
3. Studio registration and approval
Studio registrations require PNT’s approval. While a registration is pending, the studio workspace remains closed and its public page is unavailable. The owner can still contact PNT through the available help channel.
PNT may approve or decline a registration, request further information, or pause new registrations. Registering a studio does not guarantee approval.
Declining a registration does not automatically delete its records.
4. Studio owners and team members
Studio owners are responsible for deciding who may access their workspace and for keeping team access appropriate and up to date.
Owners, Managers, and Staff have different permissions. Users must stay within the permissions assigned to them and must not attempt to bypass access restrictions.
Studios must only add or use client information, documents, images, and other content that they are authorised to handle.
5. Public studio pages
A studio controls the business information, services, products, descriptions, and prices it publishes through CalCraft. The studio is responsible for keeping that information accurate.
Public visibility depends on the studio being active, its public page being enabled, and the applicable listing requirements being met.
A listing or approval to use CalCraft does not mean that PNT endorses the studio or guarantees its qualifications, products, services, or availability.
If you use “Near me”, CalCraft uses the device location you permit it to access to help find studios. Results do not guarantee that the closest studio appears first.
6. Enquiries and wash queues
A signed-in user may have one open enquiry with each studio at a time. A separate enquiry may be made with another studio. Sending an enquiry does not guarantee a booking, an accepted quote, or a response within a particular time.
Where a studio offers a wash queue, a signed-in user may hold one place in that studio’s queue for the day while their entry is waiting or being served.
Studios may also add walk-in clients or queue entries manually. These entries are separate from the limits applied to account-based submissions.
Queue positions indicate the studio’s current recorded queue. They do not guarantee an exact service time. The studio manages its queue, service availability, and any changes.
You must not use duplicate accounts, false information, or repeated submissions to bypass these limits or disrupt a studio.
7. Quotes, orders, and invoices
Studios are responsible for the accuracy of their quotes, order details, invoices, and any terms agreed with their clients.
Sharing a quote by WhatsApp, email, or PDF does not, by itself, record acceptance or create an order in CalCraft. An eligible quote starts an order when an authorised user records a payment greater than zero against it. Further payments against that quote do not create another order.
Changes to catalogue prices do not automatically change existing quotes or orders.
Order statuses track progress. Changing an order’s status does not itself collect money. Cancelling an order does not automatically refund a payment or void an invoice.
Completing an order generates its invoice and applies the relevant recorded payment allocations. The invoice balance reflects the transactions recorded in CalCraft.
These platform actions do not replace the studio’s obligation to agree prices, scope, deposits, cancellations, and refunds with its clients.
8. Payments and refunds
CalCraft currently records payments; it does not collect, hold, transfer, or refund money.
Recording cash, card, EFT, or another payment method is a record entered by the studio. It does not process a transaction or independently verify that money has been received.
Studios and clients must arrange actual payments and refunds through their chosen payment methods. The studio is responsible for checking that its records match those transactions.
A recorded refund is a separate entry. The original payment remains in the records, and relevant invoice allocations are adjusted. Recording a refund does not send money back to the client.
9. Charges for using CalCraft
PNT does not currently charge studios a subscription or platform fee to use CalCraft.
If PNT introduces charges, the applicable prices and payment terms will be communicated before those charges apply. These terms do not authorise PNT to debit an account or charge a payment card.
Studios remain responsible for their own internet, banking, payment-provider, and other external costs.
10. Responsibility for studio services
The studio is responsible for delivering its products and services, communicating with clients, and handling complaints, cancellations, missed appointments, refunds, and disputes relating to its business.
Clients should raise questions about a studio’s work, pricing, or payments directly with that studio. Questions about CalCraft itself should be directed to PNT.
Studios must comply with laws and professional requirements applicable to their businesses. Using CalCraft does not certify compliance or replace professional, accounting, or legal advice.
11. Privacy and business records
Personal information is handled as described in CalCraft’s Privacy Policy.
Studios are responsible for having an appropriate lawful basis to collect and use client and team information, providing required notices, and limiting access to authorised people.
PNT remains responsible for its own obligations when handling personal information. A studio’s responsibilities do not remove PNT’s obligations under applicable data protection law.
Studios retain their rights in the content they provide. They authorise PNT to host and process that content as needed to operate, secure, support, and maintain CalCraft, including displaying information the studio chooses to publish.
Studios must check the accuracy of their records and retain any business, accounting, or statutory records they are required to keep. Account restrictions do not automatically delete records. Retention, access, and deletion requests are handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
12. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use CalCraft for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading activity.
- Access or attempt to access another studio’s private records without authorisation.
- Upload content that infringes another person’s rights or contains malicious software.
- Interfere with the platform, its security, or other users’ access.
- Misuse client information or submit enquiries and queue entries intended to harass or disrupt a business.
13. Suspension and restoration
PNT may suspend a studio to address misuse, security concerns, breaches of these terms, or legal requirements. Where reasonably possible, PNT will explain the reason and any steps needed to resolve it. Urgent action may be taken without advance notice.
While a studio is suspended, its team can read its workspace records, but changes are paused. Its public page and public discovery listing are unavailable.
PNT may restore a suspended studio to active status when the relevant issue has been resolved.
CalCraft does not currently provide a self-service studio closure or deletion feature. Owners can contact PNT to request closure or discuss access to their records. Suspension or decline does not automatically delete records.
14. Availability and changes
CalCraft may be unavailable during maintenance or because of technical faults, connectivity problems, or circumstances outside PNT’s reasonable control.
PNT may update features and workflows as the platform develops. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
We will exercise reasonable care in operating the service. Studios should make appropriate arrangements for continuing essential business activities during an interruption.
15. Responsibility and legal rights
Users remain responsible for the information they enter and the business decisions they make using CalCraft.
PNT does not guarantee a studio’s work, the accuracy of information entered by users, or payments arranged outside the platform.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights you have under applicable consumer or data protection law.
16. Changes to these terms
PNT may update these terms as CalCraft changes. The current version and its effective date will be published on the platform. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention through an appropriate platform notice or other available communication channel.
Any changes remain subject to applicable law.
17. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
For platform support, complaints, or questions about these terms, contact info@pntconsulting.co.za. Studio owners may also use the help thread available in CalCraft.
